NEW! Improved design! These CNC machined weld-in tapered sleeves can be used to fix wallowed out tie rod end holes in Ford steering knuckles, or to convert a knuckle, steering arm or pitman arm to fit common Ford tie rod ends. Works with years 1985-1997 using a factory tie rod or Moog DS1071 and ES3009r end.

Taper 0.710" Major  0.595" Minor  1" OD, 1.120" OAL
Made in the USA from 1020 DOM Steel bar.  

Instructions:
The basics: To install, drill hole out to 1" OD. Press in, then weld in.

Preferably, a mill is used to machine the hole to the correct size, minus a couple thousandths for a interference fit. Freeze the sleeve and heat the knuckle, drop sleeve in place, wait for science to do its thing. Next, heat the knuckle and tig weld sleeves in place. Let cool.
