This front hanger kit provides a 4.5 inch lift for Chevy trucks. It consists of a front hanger for the front springs, rear under frame shackle hangers for the rear of the front springs, braces for under frame shackle hangers, heavy duty shackles and hardware.
The leaf spring hanger and shackle hangers are made from laser cut and CNC formed 3/16th and 1/4 inch p & o steel plate, with 4 inch eye to eye shackles and 5/16ths thick steel laser cut plates. Poly bushings are included for added control and longevity. Suitable for vehicles with a 31.5 spring center, this kit can also be used by 2WD vehicles with some modification to convert to 4WD.
This kit is specifically designed to accommodate factory Chevy 47-inch front springs, which have an overall width of 3 5/8ths-3 3/4 inches including bushings. It should be noted that when using other springs, you may need to adjust for the width difference. For example, if using rear springs, or a B-52 swap, the overall width may only be 3 inches. In such cases, Delrin spacers can be easily used as a solution.
