Toyota Axle under Samurai Kit

Sky Manufacturing introduced the Toyota axle conversion kit for the Suzuki Samurai in 2005 as a way to better adapt the Toyota axle to the Suzuki Samurai frame.

This kit allows the installation of a 1979-1985 Hilux front Toyota 4x4 axle under a 86-95 Suzuki Samurai using Wrangler/Jeep YJ leaf springs. Jeep Springs are 2.5 inch's wide, normal pack thickness is slightly over 1.250 inch's. 

Kit allows installer to simply move Toyota spring perch eyes to Samurai width without massive reworking of existing axle housing. Kit consists of 1 weld on plate and spring perch, a top plate and u bolt flip plate, u bolts and hardware.

Please specify above what year front axle you are using as u bolts vary. '79-83 is the " round" housing, '84-85 is the "square" housing. We supply round U-bolts on the round housing, and square for the flat bottom or square housing. One installer note, the welds on the housing may need to be lightly relieved on some housing as Toyota had a little too much extra material.
