This truck bed step mounts on the DRIVER SIDE OF THE TRUCK in front of the rear wheel. Designed specifically to fit a 1980-1997 Ford F-series long LONG BED trucks only (THIS WILL NOT FIT A SHORT BED TRUCK). This step makes it much easier to gain access into the bed, especially on lifted trucks.
