Toyota Billet High Steer Arms
SKU: TOY-HSA-001
Sky’s has been building Toyota high-steer steering components since the late 1990s. After years of different designs and refinements, these billet high-steer arms represent the evolution of that experience.
CNC machined from billet 4340 alloy steel and 100% made in the USA, these arms are designed to move the steering linkage above the leaf springs, improving steering clearance and helping protect critical steering components from rocks and trail obstacles.
The arms provide the geometry needed for crossover steering using an IFS-style steering box on early solid-axle Toyota pickups and 4Runners. They are also an important component when converting later IFS Toyota trucks to a solid front axle.
Designed Around Toyota Steering Geometry
Rather than simply raising the steering linkage, Sky’s arms are designed around the geometry of a properly functioning Toyota high-steer system.
The tie-rod and drag-link locations are positioned to provide additional clearance while maintaining appropriate rod-end operating angles. The shortened steering-arm geometry also helps reduce tie-rod/drag-link interference and provides additional room for higher-arch leaf springs.

Built for Toyota High Steer
These arms are designed for Toyota solid-front-axle applications where strength, steering geometry, and clearance matter. Moving the steering linkage higher keeps vulnerable components farther away from trail obstacles while the billet 4340 construction provides a substantial foundation for demanding off-road steering systems.
Pair them with Sky’s 23mm FJ-80 tie-rod ends for a heavy-duty steering combination designed around the same high-steer system.
