79-95 Toyota Hilux 4x4 Disc Brake Conversion Brackets

The GM metric caliper, found in the 79-85 Monte Carlo or Cadillac Eldorado, can be used for front or rear conversions depending on the need for an e-brake. This caliper is commonly used for disk brake conversions and is also available aftermarket from brands like Wilwood Brakes. Please note, Sky's does not provide e-brake systems or calipers, as they are prone to failure and difficult to maintain.

"Big Bore" Metric Calipers will not work with this kit.

Axles:  Brackets will fit standard pattern Mini Truck-4Runner-Tacoma Toyota axles, 1979-2004, some 2005-2006 axles, customer will need to double check their pattern with an older axle. Grinding of ABS ports may be needed if equipped. Standard pattern is a square 3.438 pattern or 88mm.

Rotors: GM origin, machined to fit either a 79-85 hub centric of 3.6" or 86-95 4.2" hub centric. Will also fit early Tacoma with 4.2" hub centric. Rotors are 1" wide.

Additional Information:
Constructed with precision and expertise, our brackets are designed to create reliable and precise results. With a mere .003 tolerance, we utilize laser cutting on .375 (3/8ths) steel, followed by precise forming and final machine work for the holes that securely attach to the axle housing and caliper. 

Kit will fit 15 inch wheels with 3.5 or less backspace.

Brackets are shipped raw steel. Due to bolt and thread tolerances, we do not recommend powder coating.
