Toyota FJ-80 Heavy Duty Tie Rod Ends

Heavy-duty Toyota FJ-80 style tie rod ends used in Sky’s Toyota High Steer and crossover steering systems. These are a direct replacement for the tie rod ends supplied with our Toyota High Steer Kits and are also used in our Suzuki steering applications.

With a 23mm thread, the FJ-80 style end provides a substantially larger steering connection than the smaller factory Toyota pickup-style tie rod ends. Sky’s 23mm steering links use 23mm-1.5 left- and right-hand threads, allowing normal tie-rod and drag-link adjustment.

Why We Use the Sealed Version

Sky’s specifically uses the non-greasable FJ-80 style tie rod end in our steering systems. Based on our experience with these parts, we have had better service from the sealed version than from the commonly available greasable alternatives. Our current High Steer listing likewise notes that Sky’s has had better results with the non-greasable version.

Built Around Sky’s 23mm Steering System

These ends work with Sky’s 1.250" × .250-wall DOM Toyota steering links, which are threaded for the 23mm FJ-80 ends. They are also compatible with Sky’s 23mm threaded tube and fabrication components for custom steering applications.
